As Young Thug‘s massive year comes to a close, the Atlanta rapper and Auto-Tune crooner isn’t resting on his laurels (see our 100 Best Albums of 2014). In the past couple of days, Thugger has shared a couple of new songs produced by Dun Deal, who also crafted his unlikely radio hit, “Stoner.” The latest is the confidently gliding lean ode “Pelican Fly.” That follows yesterday’s harder-edged “Hold Us,” which features Thug’s recent Rich Gang: Tha Tour Pt. 1 mixtape partner Rich Homie Quan along with fellow ATL MC Peewee Longway. It’s not yet clear if and when these tracks will end up on an official release, but they’re a satisfying exclamation point on Thug’s rapid rise so far.

Listen to both songs below. Earlier this month, Young Thug also shared the dreamy “Cloud 9,” and he guests on Rae Sremmurd‘s Nicki Minaj-featuring “Throw Sum Mo.”
