“Now I should tell you that a miracle has occurred,” Morrissey said at a San Jose show last night, “and we are about to release the follow-up to Viva Hate. It’s been a long wait.”

It’s hard to tell if he’s joking — this is Morrissey, after all — or if the former Smiths frontman actually views this summer’s World Peace is None of Your Business as the proper follow-up to his solo debut from 1988.
