Necessary full disclosure: our relationship with New Orleans band Hurray for the Riff Raff goes back a long, long way — all the way back to 2007, when we released their second record through the eMusic Selects program. So it filled our hearts to bursting to watch them last night on Conan, swing and sashay their way through “I Know It’s Wrong (But That’s Alright)” from this year’s excellent Small Town Heroes. (You can read our corresponding profile here.) The band sounded as great as always, and Alynda was decked out in a rhinestone-studded white suit that would have done Elvis proud. They also performed “End of the Line” as a web exclusive. Watch both below.
