Watch Slowdive’s First Show in 20 Years

As pointed out by Consequence of Sound, Slowdive performed at London’s Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen last night, marking the first time the band’s founding members played together since their Soulvaki tour. Also of note: SBK dropped Slowdive before the label could support their final album (1995′s Pygmalion), so Sunday’s set was also the live debut of latter day tracks like “Blue Skied an’ Clear” and “Crazy For You.”

“There’s only three albums — well, and quite a lot of EPs — to choose from,” frontman Neil Halstead told The Quietus earlier this year. “We will definitely be playing some stuff from Pygmalion, as we never got to play that record live before. I think the live set will be a pretty fair reflection of our career and our hits – or not hits as they were.”
