Veruca Salt Return With New Songs, Record Store Day Release

Veruca Salt have revealed their first record in 14 years. Due out April 19th through Minty Fresh, the 10” Record Store Day release pairs the band’s breakthrough single “Seether” with two brand new B-sides, “The Museum of Broken Relationships” and “It’s Holy.”

Veruca Salt’s founding members — Nina Gordon (guitar/vocals), Louise Post (guitar/vocals), Steve Lack (bass) and Jim Shapiro (drums) — first hinted at their return last March, when they wrote the following message on Facebook: “For now let’s just say this: hatchets buried, axes exhumed.” They confirmed their studio plans six months later, and eventually ended up working with Brad Wood, the producer who also helped the group with their alt-rock debut American Thighs.
