Although Bono’s bike injuries continue to plague him, the show must go on. U2 has planned a concert tonight in Times Square in support of World Aids Day. Officially called “A (RED) THANK YOU — Presented by (BANK OF AMERICA)RED,” the line-up now features “U2 Minus 1″ with Bruce Springsteen and Coldplay’s Chris Martin taking turns to fill in for Bono.

They’ll also be joined by Kanye West and Carrie Underwood.

The show will be broadcast live via the YouTube stream below. If you happen to be in New York City, then go to the entrance at 50th Street and Broadway. More information is available on U2′s website.

Although Bono will not get the chance to perform this evening, Rolling Stone did name Songs of Innocence their No. 1 Album of 2014 today so he has something to celebrate. Springsteen ranked high on the list as well.
