It looks like Tyga finally has a release date for his new album. Although The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty missed its initial release date of November 18, the rapper took to Twitter very early this morning to confirm that we’ll see the new LP before Christmas:
#TheGoldAlbum dec 23!

What’s still unclear is whether the album will be released on the Young Money Label, which has yet to confirm the date on their website or social media accounts.
Back in October, Tyga accused Young Money of not properly backing the release.
Gold album been done. my label holding me hostage so i can't release nothing. might just leak it for my fans then let them make $ off it.

This prompted Young Money President Mack Maine to respond:
Don't forget about puttin limes in coconuts!!! What you "rep" didn't make you or build you!!

Later that month, in an interview with VIBE, Tyga made disparaging remarks about his fellow label-mates Drake and Nicki Minaj; which prompted an alleged altercation between a member of his crew and Drake’s DJ shortly after the interview was published. Meanwhile, Minaj unfollowed Tyga on Twitter.
Cash Money CEO Birdman addressed the issues in an interview with Hot 97, claiming that Tyga was still signed to Young Money as of October 28. But in the same interview Birdman also said, “My intake is, I’m family orientated… either you’re in or you’re out. If you’re out, you’re an outcast. If you’re in, we family.”
While we wait for more details, listen to Tyga’s latest “40 Mill” produced by Kanye West.
