We don’t know much beyond its title (Ritual in Repeat) and release date (September 9 through Communion) but Tennis have lined up a new LP produced by members of The Black Keys (Patrick Carney), The Shins (Richard Swift, who’s also a touring bassist for … The Black Keys) and Spoon (Jim Eno). If the rest of the record is anything like its lead single (“Never Work For Free,” which is available to stream below), expect a listen that’s as profoundly poppy as the married couple’s ever been; maybe not all that surprising considering how they name-dropped Destiny’s Child, Fleetwood Mac and the Bees Gees in a Wondering Sound feature last time around…
