The creative team behind Upstate New York’s BasilicaSoundScape festival — including Pitchfork senior editor Brandon Stosuy, manager Brian De Ran (Animal Collective, Gang Gang Dance) and former Hole bassist Melissa Auf Der Maur — have announced the initial rollout of its third annual lineup. Set to hit the reclaimed factory Auf Der Maur co-owns with Tony Stone on the Hudson waterfront, the two-day soiree will feature live sets from Swans, Deafheaven, Tim Hecker and Julia Holter, along with “visual arts, performance art, readings, farm to table food and more.” More acts will be confirmed in the weeks ahead; for now, early bird tickets that cover both September 12 and 13 are available for just $50. Details about camping, hotel and b&b housing options will also be offered closer to the event.
