On Monday evening September 22, Chris Brown performed at Supperclub in Los Angeles as part of a Drake and Lil Wayne after-party. After the singer’s set, a fight broke out in the parking lot of the club and it is being reported that one male victim was allegedly stabbed and taken to the hospital.
No arrests have been made.
Although sources were unsure that Brown himself was directly involved in the incident, there have been rumors that his entourage instigated the fight while leaving the club and participated in the resulting scuffle.
It was only a month ago that Suge Knight was shot six times at Brown’s pre-party for the MTV Video Music Awards. The music mogel is still recovering from his injuries. A rep for Brown released a statement that said, “This incident did not involve Chris; he was merely the host of the event,” and mentioned that he would continue to cooperate with the authorities, especially as the singer is still on probation for the 2009 assault involving Rihanna.
Brown has not yet released a public statement addressing the events on Monday night.
Despite all the current violence that seems to have surrounded his public outings, Brown debuted his latest album on September 16. Today X is No. 2 on the Billboard 200, making it his sixth straight Top 10 album.
