Sunshine State is a pop-punk band in the most classic sense of the term. Hailing from Gainesville, Florida, ex-Against Me! drummer Warren Oakes started the band after moving back home to start a Southern-Mexican style restaurant. Now the quartet are releasing Pour, which includes hooky gem, “Sour Mash.” With a slow but steadily building bass line and scattered gang vocals, the ode to sour mash whiskey invokes the addictive melodicism of Pennsylvania punk rockers the Menzingers.

Pour will be out via No Idea Records on September 23rd!
