Vienna-born electro artist Milán knows no musical limits. The multi-faceted Brooklyn transplant has worked with musicians of widely-varying backgrounds, from hip-hop producer Mesta Bish, composer Ted Hearne and the Brooklyn Philharmonic Orchestra, indie rocker David Bronson to none other than Erykah Badu herself. Milán is releasing an EP of her own this November, and with it comes a dance-floor-ready hit. “DK6” packs a punch with clapping synth and layers of her sparkling vocal range, plus a handful of striking one-liners staggered throughout. It’s a pop song that’s snappy but versatile, textured by spitfire beats that crash into memorable hooks.
Milán’s self-titled EP is out November 11th.
