“Pure Bliss Choices,” one of the three songs on Philadelphia group Little Big League’s split 7″ with Connecticut’s Ovolv, is a ragged, jagged pop song, written with clawing guitars and anchored in Michelle Zauner’s great, grainy voice. At times sounding vaguely like Bettie Serveert’s Carol Van Dyk, she’s two parts snarl, one part sneer. It’s the perfect counterweight —l the gutars are loose and slashing, but Zauner’s delivery is sharpened to a point.
