Slint have lined up their first tour in nearly a decade. Set to start on April 29 in Boston and wind down on May 11 in Minneapolis, it’s in support of Touch & Go’s elaborate Spiderland box set, which arrives on April 15.

“Do I find that distasteful, exploiting old material?” frontman Brian McMahan said in a recent Pitchfork interview. “Yes, I do. But any of these times that we’ve played together, it’s only happened because a really hardcore group of people wanted it to happen. It was not something we had planned or were looking to cash in. People ask you repeatedly, and you finally start to get the sense that people would really like to hear this song performed live in front of them.”
