Sleater-Kinney and Bob’s Burgers are together at last, and they’re a mighty endearing combination. The riot-grrrl icons’ TV ties are well-documented — or haven’t you visited Carrie Brownstein’s Portlandia? — and when Bob’s Burgers isn’t keeping up The Simpsons‘ tradition of original music numbers, the FOX animated sitcom has been teaming up for videos with the National and St. Vincent. Sleater-Kinney recently released a new album, No Cities to Love, and the video for its Late Show with David Letterman selection “A New Wave” shows Brownstein, fellow singer/guitarist Corin Tucker and drummer Janet Weiss performing in character Tina Belcher’s bedroom. The floor shakes, catching the attention of Tina’s parents downstairs. Watch the video below (via Pitchfork).
