There’s been a lot of talk about breaking the internet lately, but Run the Jewels just might be the ones to go and finally do it. Maybe literally — it’s a series of tubes, right? Just last month, Killer Mike and El-P released their revolutionary Run the Jewels 2. Since then, they’ve taunted indie-level internet-mangler Mark Kozelek and officially taken over the world.

What Run the Jewels haven’t done is forget about Meow the Jewels, the Kickstarter-funded RTJ2 remake they agreed to do using only cat sounds.  They recently met up in Phoenix with the person who started the Kickstarter; watch a video of this historic summit below. Since then, Run the Jewels have also performed in Los Angeles, where they brought out RTJ2 guests Zack De La Rocha of Rage Against the Machine and Blink-182‘s Travis Barker to reprise their parts from the record; scroll down for Instagram footage via Pitchfork. When El-P, Killer Mike and cats collide with Zack De La Rocha and Travis Barker, well, just look at what Lil Bub almost did to the poor ol’ world wide web.
