One of this drunken rockabilly dude’s darkest records yet.

Some people were born drunk. Or born to be drunk. Or drunk to be born. The late West Virginia rockabilly singer Hasil Adkins was all three. The one-man-band had been around since the mid '50s, making the same record over and over, not caring a lick whether anyone was listening on the other end of the microphone. This is one of his darkest records, a sinventory of all that has gone wrong and never will be righted, a prayer to a God he doesn't believe in. "Somehow You'll Find Your Way" is as good as Hasil gets. Stripped like a burnt-out Oldsmobile, Adkins coos and howls at a former lover who will never look back.
