A de facto best-of from Billy Childish’s primary band from 2000 to 2006.

What do you mean "undifferentiated mass of indistinguishable creativity"? Billy Childish has an extremely high strike rate for someone who records as often as he does, and this de facto best-of from his primary band from 2000 to 2006 is a good place to go to get re-energized. Opening with a station ID that represents the first and, very likely, last time you will ever hear a drum machine on a Billy Childish record, this collects the Buff Medways performing live for the British satellite channel. The live tracks give some brutish songs the kick of allowing us to listen in on an audience's enjoyment of them, especially during the a cappella "John the Revelator" and the in-studio sessions are crisp enough to help us ascertain that their microphones really do sound that dead (see the chorus harmonies of "Just 15").
