Hardcore bands can't mature! Wait. Can they? Haram think so. Their brand of post-hardcore is the sort of measured and considered take on the genre that young bands will abhor, older groups will envy and music fans will enjoy. Featuring ex-members of Majority Rule and Pg. 99, the quartet takes their cues from those previous incarnations, but instead of privileging subpar recording techniques and sloppy playing, it's obvious the group's two guitarists have mastered the delicate art of subtle aggression. Growing old gracefully in the hardcore scene is a nearly impossible task, but Haram are doing just fine.
