Pianist reels off tender yet mischievous concertos.

Completed in 1915 when the composer was 29, this deliciously mischievous triptych sneaks with studied abandon from jasmine-scented exotica to ineffable tenderness, tarrying now and again for a spectacular dance number. Pianist Francois-Joel Thiollier attacks the piece's myriad lyric flourishes with heat and wit; conductor Antoni Wit holds the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra of Katowice in a playful co-conspirator pattern that you and whomever might do well to emulate.
