Cellist/vocalist Ben Sollee's sophomore LP spans several styles — mostly folk rock ("Captivity"), pop ("Close To You") and jazz ("Bible Belt") — and weaves his cello naturally into genres where it's not typically found at the forefront. Highlights include the bluesy "Huddle On the Rooftop," the majestic, roots-influenced "Close to You," and duet with vocalist Phoebe Hunt, "I Need."
