Kid Galahad, Happily Even After

Funereal, ethereal indie pop that's all tremors and tenderness, Kid Galahad finds the tiny space between longing and lamenting. It's like if Coldplay gave in to their experimental side; "I'll Be The One" starts as a simple acoustic ballad and builds to a spacey sonnet. "Makes Me Smile" lays mile-a-minute vocals over blown-out percussion and twangy guitars and "Wish You Were Here" is a cowboy ballad for a farmhand from Mars. A sure hit for fans of atmospheric pop.
