Hisingen Blues

Scuzzbucket Swedes Graveyard combine slow, stoney riffage with the high-octane vocals popularized by the NWOBHM, making for music that's shaggy and bloodshot but also undeniably hooky. "Hisingen Blues," from the forthcoming album of the same name, is a beast: long, limber, looping guitars peel out endlessly, re-imagining Sabbath or Pentagram as a jam band. This is grimy, riff-heavy hard rock — music with fire in its eyes and dirt under its fingernails.
