Raekwon, RZA Strike Truce Over New Wu-Tang Clan Album

Just kidding. And by that we mean, the reports we relayed about Raekwon not being on the next Wu-Tang Clan record, the long-promised A Better Tomorrow LP. According to an all-too-brief post on the group’s official site, Raekwon has reached a “truce” with RZA and is now “scheduled to hit [the] studio to complete verses for [the] album.”

Not bad considering the Chef himself recently told Rolling Stone the odds of him participating are “at a two right now. It’s like climbing up a fuckin’ mountain if you got on slippers. It’s sad. It hurts. It’s all about the fans. It’s all about them saying, ‘This is my favorite fuckin’ hip-hop group in the world.’ I have a job to do for them. And I would never let my fans down and make something I feel is mediocre just to say I made it. That’s not Raekwon.”
