The Pixies will hit the road again, and they’ll be bringing along another batch of fresh material.

The alternative-rock pioneers, who began the past decade’s wave of indie-leaning reunions when they got back together in 2004, un-reunited in 2013 with the departure of bassist Kim Deal, but soldiered on for a new album, last year’s broadly panned Indie Cindy. They’ve also played more than 120 shows worldwide over an 18-month period, and today they’ve announced another round of dates, with more promised to follow.

The current run stretches from New Orleans on May to Canada’s Amnesia Festival in mid-June. According to the press release, the band will debut new songs as part of these shows. A Perfect Circle’s Paz Lenchantin, the Pixies’ touring bassist last year, is set to continue in that role.
