Swedish sisters Johanna and Klara Söderberg not only have their much-anticipated album Stay Gold, out on June 10 via Columbia, on its way, but they also just guested on nearly half the tracks on Conor Oberst’s latest, Upside Down Mountain. The folksy duo’s sold-out gig at L.A.’s El Rey Theatre was one of their first in support of their major-label debut, and it offered the two young women a chance to prepare for an unknown future of bigger spotlights and bigger crowds. As their album title suggests, if anyone can remain unjaded by fame, it is this pair.
