While the rest of the music world struggles to figure out who is in Blink-182, a member of the PC Music stable has gone and covered one of the pop-punk pioneers’ best-known songs. GFOTY, who last year released the Secret Mix mini-mix and the single “Don’t Wanna / Let’s Do It” through the London label/collective led by A. G. Cook, has shared a new 12-minute mini-mix, Cake Mix. And while there’s plenty of giddy electronic bubblegum whizzing by here, perhaps the most surprising moment comes around the 9:36 mark, when a timely, very PC Music cover of Enema of the State‘s “All the Small Things” begins. Unsurprisingly, the bell-chiming, hyper-digital take works, at least for the 90 seconds or so it’s playing, and the whole mix is well worth a listen.

A slight sampling of PC Music’s activity lately includes a Charli XCX remix by A. G. Cook, a Cook-Oneohtrix Point Never collaboration and reported work by PC Music affiliate Sophie for Madonna. You can hear Cake Mix below, and scroll down for the tracklist. Writes GFOTY: “WOW SO WHO WANTS SOME CAKE? HERE’S SOME NEW GFOTZ STUFF SORRZ IM WRITING ON A GERMAN KEZBOARD AND THE KEZBOARD IS ALL FUCKED UP AND THE Z like emoticon IS IN A DIFFERENT PLACE: THAT COLON WAS MEANT TO BE A FULL STOP: ENJOZ111!!”
