Omar Souleyman, Sharon Van Etten Among Confirmed Northside Acts

Details are still kinda slim on the music side of things, but organizers for the sixth annual Northside Festival have confirmed a few key acts. Among the more than 400 artists expected to play Brooklyn venues between June 12th and the 15th are Sharon Van Etten, Titus Andronicus, Omar Souleyman, Eagulls and the blissful noise duo Fuck Buttons. Showcases are also expected from such local institutions as Pitchfork, Captured Tracks, Sacred Bones and everyone’s favorite troll hole, BrooklynVegan. A pair of 6,000-capacity blowouts will also happen at McCarren Park on June 14th and 15th.
