They’re set to release a new album in January, followed up by a world tour, and The Decemberists sure do seem to be set on continuing their off-beat promotion for What a Terrible World, What a Beautiful World; the follow-up to 2011′s The King Is Dead.

After Colin Meloy announced the new LP by busking at the Bedford Avenue stop in Brooklyn, the group released a visualizer for the first single, “Make You Better.”

Now they’ve recruited Parks and Recreation star Nick Offerman for a Between Two Ferns-type situation. Offerman interviews Meloy, terrible accent and all, for a “show” called The Old Blue Rock Palace Show.

Now, Mr. Ron Swanson was recently the director for Tweedy’s video “Low Key.” So we imagine that he might be taking a stab at the official video for “Make You Better” as well?
