“Use Your Delusion,” the hammering new single from Toronto post-punk outfit Greys, opens with a list of desires: “Wish I was born in New York/ Wish I was born in LA/ Wish I was born into the Royal Family.” The music behind it sounds like a manifestation of that dissatisfaction: warped, bent-steel guitars that clobber and claw. The video that accompanies it is admirably minimal; the band plays in a white room. Some scenes happen in slow-motion, others in double-time, and the spartan setting underscores the song’s ungussied punk rock bona fides.
