High-octane and gleaming, “My Little Eraser” from New Jersey trio Aspiga recalls the glory days of mainstream pop-punk, but injects more snarl and attitude than that genre typically musters. Kevin Day sneers the song’s spiteful lyrics, at times sounding like a younger, nastier version of Social Distortion’s Mike Ness, and the song powers through its 90 seconds with force and fire. But despite its brief length, it’s still instant and melodic, burrowing itself into the brain before its first verse has even ended

[Aspiga’s What Happened to You? will be released on October 21st on Paper + Plastick Records]
