Robyn and Röyksopp will be bringing their Do It Again tour back to the States with a performance at New York City’s Pier 97 tonight. And now the Swedish pop star has hinted that her long-awaited follow-up to Body Talk might soon be over. She has been performing new songs onstage throughout the summer and recently told Time that a new EP is fast approaching, even name-dropping collaborators.

According to Robyn, several new tracks are “actually finished and mixed” and she has been hard at work on the EP with her band mate Markus Jägerstedt and, until recently, producer Christian Falk, who passed away only three weeks ago. (Robyn previously collaborated with Falk for his single “Dream On.”) She views the new material as a tribute to her friend, saying, “It’s going to be strange, but very healing, to finish the record without Christian.”

She also mentioned that she has been in the studio with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, which can only raise the level of fervor and expectation for new Robyn tracks.

Let’s all cross fingers for a release date before December rolls around, because it’s already been a long four years.

Listen to one of the potential new songs below, tentatively titled “Love is Free.”
