News abounds for all of you avid music collectors today. Tuesday, September 2, brought word of three upcoming box sets.

The first announcement came courtesy of rock band Sleater-Kinney. The riot grrrls will be releasing a 3,000-run, limited-edition boxed set that includes all seven of their LPs on colored vinyl, plus a 44-page hardcover book and art print. The records were remastered by Sterling Sound engineer Greg Calbi from the original analog tapes. Individual albums will be sold on black vinyl.

The Start Together box is available on October 21. You can preorder here via Sub Pop.

Next up, The Quiet One. George Harrison’s wife Olivia and son Dhani have compiled remastered versions of the Beatle’s first six solo albums. They will be accompanied by a DVD with videos and a never-before-seen film, as well as a book with previously unpublished photos and new essays by Kevin Howlett.

The Apple Years 1968-75 will be released on September 23, available for preorder here.

And finally, we have Wilco. The band is set to begin a North American tour tomorrow to celebrate their 20th anniversary. They also announced via their website that a best-of collection and rarities box are forthcoming. More details will be released soon.
