Beloved ’90s dream-poppers Luna have reunited for their first set of live dates in a decade. Although the confirmed dates so far, scheduled for April 2015, are all in Spain, singer/guitarist Dean Wareham has said the band will also play in the United States, including a hometown show in New York City.

Formed in 1991 after the dissolution of Wareham’s previous band, Galaxie 500, Luna released seven studio albums. They played what until now was their final show at New York’s Bowery Ballroom on February 28, 2005. The lineup now booked for gigs in Madrid, Valencia and smaller Spanish cities is the same as on the last two LPs, 2002′s Romantica and 2004′s Rendezvous: Wareham, singer/bassist Britta Phillips (who married Wareham in the mid-’00s and is half of their duo Dean & Britta), guitarist Sean Eden and drummer Lee Wall.

Wareham released his first solo album earlier this year, simply titled Dean Wareham and produced by My Morning Jacket‘s Jim James.
