Run by Loke Rahbek and Christian Stadsgaard — the earsplitting noise maniacs behind Damien Dubrovnik — the Copenhagen label Posh Isolation made a name for itself by exploring the darker corners of their local scene. “Altar,” from White Void continues that tradition. A project of the musician Frederik Lind Köppen, the song blends grimy, grinding guitars with blown-out busted-drum-machine percussion and Köppen’s wild, pained wail. It’s a thrilling collision of punk, darkwave and goth.
