“Disorder” resonates with rock ‘n’ roll fury, impregnated with a full clatter of loud, fast drums. From the beginning, the track wastes no time driving itself into your ears with fuzzed-out riffs that call to mind the shredding electricity of Diarrhea Planet. Meatbodies’ lo-fi psychedelia makes sense when you consider that frontman Chad Ubovich is a former member of fellow California garage-rockers Mikal Cronin and FUZZ. “Disorder” would fit right in on Ty Segall’s Melted, as it derails from its initial jangly attack into a tenacious, rollercoaster guitar solo that whips and writhes through the outro.
Meatbodies’ self titled debut is out October 14th via In the Red!
