Future’s “Move That Dope” is the dirtiest-feeling rap song out right now, and ergo the best. It’s reporting from three separate decades; The popping-and-locking drum machine is straight 1980s; the several-rapper skills pileup (somehow, Pharrell comes off the strongest!) is pure ’90s; and the rich, candy-paint dripping synths are Houston circa-05. There is no activity that isn’t made to feel 100 percent more illicit with “Move That Dope.” Hand out flyers for community gatherings with this song playing behind you, and people will hit the lights and draw the blinds.
