An insatiable drive can lead to work that, well, satisfies pretty much everybody else. Future‘s 2014 album Honest includes a Mike WiLL Made It-produced collaboration with Drake called “Never Satisfied,” but, in a clever bit of irony, the track cuts out before it reaches the two-minute mark. Last night, Mike WiLL released a full-length version, which stretches out the super-producer’s atmospheric, detail-rich backdrop and adds fresh singing and rapping from Drake, including yet another nod to Jodeci (or in this case, just K-Ci and JoJo). “Ain’t no pressure on the money, Lord knows,” the Nothing Was the Same MC concludes. “But we still on a roll like we scared of going broke.” Also on a roll is Mike WiLL, who has the extended “Never Satisfied” set aside for his upcoming Ransom mixtape.
