Atlanta’s Awful Records is having one hell of a prolific moments and with one-off “STYX,” they have one of their best to-date. Its focused production boasts vocals from head honcho Father and signee Ethereal, who recently released his grizzled, clouded Cactus Jack mixtape. But who ties the track together is the crew’s resident R&B singer Abra, who floats over the whole thing, advancing the other two’s verses with her “whoa-ohs” and blissfully maudlin hook. If you find Awful’s mechanical output to be unpleasant, give them a shot with this. Father and Ethereal still come cold and calculated, but the beat and Abra give it an added layer of soul.

Same goes for this TrapMoneyBenny remix of Father’s breakout “Look at Wrist,” which was released today. It gives the Key! and iLoveMakonnen cut an almost Donkey Kong Country water level feel (no, really). But also, you’re totally insane if you don’t like any manifestation of “Wrist.”
