Lil Wayne Claims ‘Tha Carter V’ Will Not Be Released Due to Label Issues

CONTINUED UPDATE: Although Cortez Bryant, Lil Wayne’s manager, gave a quick comment to TMZ last night that relations between the rapper and his label were fine, Lil Wayne posted the following photo to his Instagram account this morning:

UPDATE: Pusha T has now responded to Lil Wayne’s tweets.

Although Lil Wayne claimed that the first part of Tha Carter V would be released next week on December 9, the rapper has taken to Twitter to reveal that this would not be the case — and to air his grievances with label Cash Money. In a series of tweets, Wayne reveals that Birdman in particular refuses to release the album and that the issue is out of his hands.
