Kendrick Lamar’s 10-Year-Old Brother Has a Copy of His New Album

As the anticipation continues to mount over Kendrick Lamar’s new album, DJ Whoo Kid has managed to uncover a few key details about the effort. Namely where we can find a copy: Lamar’s little brother.

“He’s 10 years old,” the MC said during a half-hour radio interview (via The Independent). “Real talk — he has the album and he tell me what he like. That’s my A&R right there. Sophisticated ear.”

He also denied claims that Jay Rock’s new single features a few digs at Drake. “That’s people digging in way too far … It’s reaching now. But people pick at things all day every day, you know? I can’t get mad at it.”

As for what the record actually sounds like, Lamar skirted the issue by saying, “Don’t expect anything. It’s just creativity, man. That’s life.”
