Brace yourselves. Sun Kil Moon will be releasing a new 10″ in April. According to Stereogum, the A-side will contain the new track “Possum” that made its debut a little over a week ago. The B-Side also has a new, previously unheard track titled, “Cry Me A River Williamsburg Sleeve Tattoo Blues”; a direct shot to the residents of North Brooklyn? The 10″ will be available courtesy of Kozelek’s Caldo Verde label and Cameron Crowe’s Vinyl Films. If you just can’t wait to get your hands on the vinyl, the songs are being released digitally today.

Now that Little Boots is no longer locked into a major recording contract, she started her own label On Repeat Records and recorded a new EP, Business Pleasure, that’s out tomorrow. Have a listen to the previously released “Taste It” and check out the title track below.

The song of the revolution that rallies the districts to the Mockingjay has scored Jennifer Lawrence a Top 20 hit in the U.K. Lawrence, in character as Katniss Everdeen, sang “The Hanging Tree” for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay -Part I and it has now appeared in the No. 14 slot on the Official U.K. Singles Chart. (It’s also No. 12 on ARIA’s Australian Top 50 Singles Chart.) Director Francis Lawrence recently told Vulture, “I knew [Lawrence] didn’t love the idea of singing, but I didn’t realize how nervous she was until when we started the first take, and she was in tears. Not totally broken down, but she was unhappy. I didn’t have to talk her into it, she was going to do it, she knew it was her job, but she just wasn’t happy about it.” So, not bad for someone who started the shoot off by sobbing.

Speaking of Hollywood, it turns out that Twilight actor Robert Pattinson played guitar on the Death Grips’ track “Birds” back in 2013. According to Pitchfork, “[Drummer] Zach Hill recorded Pattinson’s guitar with his iPhone and the band sampled the recording on the track.” A Reddit user made this discovery when he purchased a physical release of the Death Grips’ album Government Plates on Black Friday and Pattinson was listed in the liner notes.

Although a rip of the rumored Kanye West track “All Day” leaked yesterday, it was quickly dismissed as a fake and pulled down. However, while we continue to wait on that Hype Williams-directed documentary of the Yeezus tour, John Colandra compiled over two hours of fan footage and coverage from the networks to make an amateur doc of his own. The 23-year-old from New Jersey also promised that similar videos of the Watch the Throne tour and the Glow in the Dark tour are forthcoming. Check out the Yeezus results below, they’re pretty excellent considering that much of it comes from what the audience shot on their iPhones. Happy Monday.
