Even though he’ll be a featured guest on Nicki Minaj’s The Pinkprint and just had his hit “Don’t Tell ‘Em” covered by Lorde, Jeremih still has a few axes to grind. While the status of his much-anticipated third album, Late Nights, remains up in the air, the Chicago crooner just released a video for “Big Dawg Shit,” featuring his pal Chi Hoover. Standing in the rain, Jeremih goes on about his wealth, fame, and success over a gloomy groove, admitting the he “ain’t even having fun yet.” As The Fader points out, he also takes a shot at his label, Def Jam, singing, “When I signed to Def Jam, if I woulda knew that they was deaf,” and letting Hoover finish the line with an emphatic “Nah!” Hopefully the rising star will be his album release straightened out soon so he can turn that frown upside down. Meantime, enjoy “Big Dawg Shit” below, courtesy of Worldstar.
