Fun. Guitarist Jack Antonoff Confirms Grimes Collaboration

According to a Daily Beast (via SPIN) profile on Jack Antonoff, the fun. guitarist/Bleachers frontman just logged some studio time with Grimes.

“Anytime I work with Taylor [Swift] or Tegan and Sara or Sara Bareilles or anyone I’m working with right now — I was with Grimes yesterday, who I love — it’s just the two of us in a room having a really good time,” the in-demand songwriter said. “Or a really emotional time. We’re throwing around ideas and sounds so that the result is 1 + 1 = more than 2. That’s why it’s really cool to collaborate.”

Antonoff didn’t specify whether the pair’s recording session was for Grimes’s eagerly anticipated new album or more of a one-off single; either way, this isn’t the first time they’ve worked together. Grimes also lent some fairy dust to the recent Bleachers track “Take Me Away,” which can be streamed below alongside her latest single “Go”:
