Dave Grohl‘s quest for domination of all media continues. Today, Foo Fighters shared “The Feast and the Famine,” the second track to emerge from their upcoming album Sonic Highways (due out November 10 via Roswell/RCA Records). Where the first single, “Something From Nothing,” takes some time to pump up the volume, this one has buzzsaw urgency from the get-go, building to a furious instrumental breakdown.

The next episode of the Grohl-led band’s HBO documentary series, Foo Fighters: Sonic Highways, airs tonight; the Washington, D.C.-themed episode will have a screening tonight at D.C. venue the Black Cat, followed by a Foo Fighters performance. The band has also announced it’s set to sit down with Anderson Cooper on CBS’ 60 Minutes this weekend. What’s more, the group announced this week it will perform at Chicago’s Wrigley Field on August 29 with Illinois bands Cheap Trick, Urge Overkill and Naked Raygun, the last of whom played at the first concert Grohl attended. Let’s see, here’s guessing Paul McCartney somehow gets involved in three, two, one…
