Empty Chairs’s Peter Spear Missing Since Last Sunday

Friends and family of the Brooklyn musician Peter Spear have launched a Facebook page devoted to finding the Empty Chairs member. According to Gothamist, Spear “was last seen around 8 a.m. in Stewart’s Shop restaurant in Pine Plains, New York. He’s described as standing around 6-feet tall and weighing 165 to 170 pounds, with brown hair, hazel eyes and a thin beard. He was last seen wearing dark jeans, a blue t-shirt, large wire-frame glasses and carrying a black backpack.”

An update posted yesterday also said a reliable witness gave Spear a ride towards a Duchess County train station at 9 a.m. on Sunday morning.
