Eminem has always had a way of preempting criticism, and that’s not changing as he approaches the 15th anniversary of The Slim Shady LP.

“Guts Over Fear,” a bombastic new Sia collaboration that appears in the upcoming Denzel Washington movie The Equalizer, has a template that’s familiar from the rap god‘s hits in recent years with the likes of Rihanna, so naturally he’s the first to admit it (and own it as a strength): “I’d rather make ‘Not Afraid 2′ than another make mothafuckin’ ‘We Made You,’” he insists. In other words, he’d rather have another message-based song than a goofy celebrity bashing, and that’s what you can hear below or purchase on iTunes.

The midtempo duet coincides with the announcement of a new album called Shady XV, which Eminem was teasing over the weekend via social media. According to Billboard, the two-disc set will compile Eminem’s greatest hits, along with new tracks from him, Slaughterhouse, Bad Meets Evil, D-12 and Yelawolf. It’s due out on November 28, AKA Black Friday.
