Elliott Smith Doc, Action Bronson’s Food Show Reveal Trailers

So you’re probably wondering what Elliott Smith and Action Bronson are doing in the same Wondering Sound post. The reason is simple: We figured you’d need a little levity after watching the minor-keyed trailer for Heaven Adores You, a long overdue look at the spectacular rise — jumpstarted by his Oscar-nominated contribution to the Good Will Hunting soundtrack — and tragic fall of the indie rock icon, who died from two stab wounds to the chest in 2003.

San Francisco’s International Film Festival hosts the documentary’s world premiere next week, with plans for a widespread release later this year. In the meantime, Vice’s new online food channel Munchies is presenting the premiere episode of Fuck, That’s Delicious in May. The monthly look at Action Bronson’s love of food — he was a chef well before he was a Raekwon-esque rapper — joins previously aired segments on mortadella sandwiches, pour over coffee, and chefs like David Chang and former Top Chef contestant Dale Talde.
