It’s been a year since the release of their debut album The Bones of What You Believe and Chvrches are still hard at work promoting the album like crazy.

They’re also making a contribution to The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part I soundtrack, curated by Lorde. The new Chvrches track is titled “Dead Air,” and the group played it during the last show of their American tour at Emo’s in Austin earlier this month.

Additionally, the band recently teamed up with Zane Lowe of BBC Radio 1 to include another new song on his project Radio 1 Rescores: Drive; where the DJ has enlisted a variety of artists to re-score the soundtrack to the Academy Award-nominated film Drive. They released “Get Away” once the project was announced, but you will be able to hear the soundtrack in its entirety on October 30 via BBC Three. (Although there still seems to be some confusion as to why Lowe decided that the film needed to be re-scored in in the first place.)

Chvrches still have five dates left on their European tour to support The Bones of What You Believe before heading to Asia, and today brought a new video for “Under the Tide” in the midst of their busy schedule. It’s one of the few tracks where Lauren Mayberry concedes her usual spot and let’s Martin Doherty take over lead vocals. Directed by Sing J. Lee, it’s definitely Tron-inspired with a touch of anime thrown in for good measure.
