After it’s nearly two-month delay, Charli XCX’s Sucker is just two weeks away from its release. Following the hit “Boom Clap,” the future-punky “London Queen,” the teen-baiting “Break the Rules,” and, most recently, the fuzzy “Gold Coins” comes “Breaking Up” and its appropriately boy-bashing video. Here, Charli and her lady friends revel in their single statuses now that they’ve ditched their loser dudes, and they get revenge by rocking out in a limo, binding the dudes to chairs, and tossing bowling balls at them. As for the song itself, it’s got a Joan Jett and Go-Go’s vibe, a fitting sound for an album that was influenced in part by the Ramones and Weezer.
